Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch has been in the same family since the 1920s when the main lodge was built from native timbers by Cody's first county sheriff, Henry Dahlem.

With its almost century-long history, the Shoshone Lodge authentically boasts a beautiful display of craftsmanship.

The lodge has been run by members of the family for the past 4 generations and is now owned and operated by Henry’s great-grandson, Mike Christiansen. When you stay at the ranch, you will be personally entertained by Mike and his family and will be able to hear the incredible history of Shoshone Lodge firsthand, as well as ride past some of the historical sites such as the location of the family’s sawmill which they used to mill the timbers for the lodge and original cabins.
